Share Your Christmas is a wonderful way to help those in need during the holidays. The program is a joint project of Crosslines and the Springfield NewsLeader, allowing an opportunity to communicate why local families need assistance and specific ways the community can help.
Families that are selected for the Share Your Christmas program have experienced challenging situations during the past year that makes it difficult to provide Christmas gifts for their children. This might be job loss, illness, accidents, education expenses, or extra people in the home such as grandparents suddenly needing to care for grandchildren. This past year, Covid-19 greatly impacted families work, living and personal situations.
Last year, Killian participated in this wonderful cause to make Christmas brighter for a family in need. We rallied together to obtain Christmas gifts for a local family, and though we were able to make a small impact in their lives, this experience truly left a huge impact on our team leaving us humbled and full of gratitude. One associate said, “Knowing that you did something for someone else is always a blessing.” We look forward to participating in the future and hope other organizations get on board to help Share Your Christmas during the holiday season.
